Its similar to Daytona prototypes in that the chassis and engines come from two serperate places. Atleast in most cases in F1, excluding Ferrari, Renalt and I believe honda. It might be possible for a spec engine and if that would be the case I see Ferrari being the benifficiary of that deal. Seeing as how they are the only company to have an engine in two different teams (Factory and Red Bull Racing.)
And I conceed to my earlier post, I thought that it was part of toyotas testing theire upcoming F1 car.
Ferrari have engines in Toro Rosso and Force India cars
Renault have engines in the Red Bull cars
Toyota have engines in the Williams cars
Toyota, BMW, Ferrari, Renault, and Honda build their own engines and chassis
