Its similar to Daytona prototypes in that the chassis and engines come from two serperate places. Atleast in most cases in F1, excluding Ferrari, Renalt and I believe honda. It might be possible for a spec engine and if that would be the case I see Ferrari being the benifficiary of that deal. Seeing as how they are the only company to have an engine in two different teams (Factory and Red Bull Racing.)
And I conceed to my earlier post, I thought that it was part of toyotas testing theire upcoming F1 car.
Ferrari was already excluded in the Spec engine deal because F1 is targeting a more "cost efficient" engine. For being an F1 "fan", you should already know that.
