Had a friend of mine give me a Toyota Camry if I could get it running. It had been sitting for two years. Long story short, got it running but it has a loudish ticking/knock sound. It is present at about 2krpm up to 3k and then fades away upwards of 3500. At idle it is present but very faint. Car runs fine and idle is smooth other than the noise nothing seems wrong with the car. Does this sound like rod knock to you guys or could this be noisy sticky two year gunk lifters? I have never experienced rod knock so.... I did change the oil immediately after I got it running and added a quart of the Marvel mystery stuff. I just dont want to start driving it to Tampa everyday and have it blow a rod out of the block on the upper crosstown ya know
