the only modification to putting the q45's on an s14 is to cut the dust shield off. they are a great budget brake system since for the fronts you dont need to use "conversion" lines, and could technically run the stock rubber lines if money was tight (but i dont see why who in their right mind would, spend the extra $100 and do it/bleed it while its all out anyways). 90-96 works and i see greg has verified that he has 97-98s too. they are plentiful in junkyards if you look hard enough. usually in good shape too.
you dont get the cool NISSAN logo on the caliper but id rather keep it simple/stock/sleeperish. the 300zx calipers are fixed. q45s are sliding calipers. the 300's are firmer with ss lines than q45s but no difference in stopping power when i compared them to his friend's that had z's on a comparably modded s14. pedal feel is all about getting used to it anyways.
