If you still have the coil packs on up front the ballast or resister thingys that are supposed to suppress the ignition noise from the radio are prone to cause ignition problems. That and the coil packs them selves can become faulty. When mine went bad I had mis-fire codes come up. See if you know someone who has a 93 -98 4.6 engine,.. can be anything,.. Tbird, F150, Mustang and borrow their coil packs and see if it still does it. If not then there ya go.
