im turning the motor 7000rpm which is fine for hydros. theres people that turn hydros over 8000rpm

solids require constant adjustment, esp on a street motor. you have to run a decent amount of spring pressure and oiling has always been an issue on solid rollers, its a lot easier to break things when the motor idles a lot. hydro roller you adjust 1 turn past snug and leave it, you dont have to check it again, thats why you reload it so it has the ability to adjust. also hydros allow you to run a steeper opening ramp.

it will be hydro roller and most rockers these days have varying rocker ratios. So it might have an opening rate of 1.7 but still be a 1.5 rocker.
