BTW...just get a new pump from GM. Find the PN for an LS6 oil pump. All the new ones should be the same....but just use the LS6 oil pimp PN as a reference to ensure you dont get some old 98 oil pump that was sitting on a shelf. You can get a stock ported oil pump for fairly cheap from several vendors.
