Why not build a bigger-than-elise car for normal sized people but keep its weight down, put an adequately powered motor in it, and voila! You have an instant hit. Not to mention less material would be used, then production costs go down, etc. etc. Do I really have to explain it?
Look up the Lotus Eagle that is on its way out, or the Europe only Lotus Europa. Often times cars that light cost
more because of the exotic materials they use.
