Im willing to bet, the transition time form max c/r to lowest will be slow as crap. The camshaft and rod that are responsible for adjusting the c/r looks to be on a 2:1 lever. Which means 50% of the force on the piston is exerted onto the camshaft.
It looks like it'll be able to change quickly to me, but again it's really hard to see what's going on in those tiny pics. Personally, I'm wondering how they're going to lube all those joints in there. Man I wish there was a better drawing of this.
