I was going to do the same thing for my 16 y/o daughter. I had an 89 GT. I changed to 3:73's, and started fixing some minor issues. Put on some flows and some tails. The next thing was going to be a cam change. Did you hear that? WAS....My wife took it out and spun out in the rain. Not going fast, just around a corner, and spun out. Sooooo.....I sold it and got her a BMW 735i instead. Now I feel much more comfortable about my little girl driving it around. Of course, in another 2 years, I have to part with my 67 mustang cp.....Thats her HS graduation present....I'm gonna cry that day.
