If all that matters is going faster then the engineers would just put a computer chip in the steering wheel and turn it loose. It's tough to respect a driver's skill when it comes to that. F1 realized finally that too much tech in the cockpit took the driver out of the equation which is why they removed some of that crap. The result has been one of the most exciting F1 seasons in years.

that was my nest point chuck, i agree, if sanctioning bodies prohibit them all is well i agree. but for a production car there are no rules correct? either way i agree about the nannies, i like a pure driving car but also like the aids that are out there just because it gives options. but im not disagreeing with any of you guys, the zr1 and acr are drivers cars no doubt.
