brandon ls rods will be fine for spray. i had myne shot peened n polished, their now the strongest you can get b4 going h beam. have the machine shop do that when they resize the big end of your rod and install the arp bolts. ull be fine using them. sell those forged ones and use the profit for something else. ctr pistons are stupid. the compression is WAY too high with those. stick to b16 (either jdm or usdm) pistons bc they will press right onto those ls rods. ur bottom end will hold up just fine as long as its assembled right.
