The joke is that the location is small, and its FUNNY to think of hotlapping there. GET IT! HAHAHAHAHA. 
You guys are the ones that aren't getting it. By designing a faster and better flowing course on that small site, you end up with a very short course. (had it not been wet, this course would have been 30-35 seconds) The only way to really make a decent autocross run out of that IS to do hot laps.
Think about it.
