If you are asking these questions and jumping to conclusions, I sure hope that you will not be the one working on my $100k Mustang. Besides, who with a $100k Mustang will have a CF hood that's gel coated, I mean from my personal opinion and from the look of the trends, actual CF to be used in a meaningful way on a vehicle are all dry carbon. The actual vacuum process is quite different to using CF as you would fiberglass.

With all that said, again, if you didn't know that the majority of CF hoods on the market are gel coated and you are here giving advice and making us believe that you've worked on a $100k Mustang with a CF hood, ummm, I call BS.

Furthermore, if you think you can simply wetsand and buff gel coat, not only will you NOT work on my $100k Mustang, but you'd not come close to even work on my salvage cars sitting in the back of shop.

On top of all that, who in their right mind would have a $100k Mustang? I mean, unless it's a classic, then OK, but you are saying that it has a CF hood, so I doubt it's a classic. I was dumb a few years ago and bought an American made truck, cost me over $40k and as soon as I drove it off of the lot, it was not worth $20k........I think you guys get the point.
