A while ago, I had a ls longblock in my Crx. I bought a Greddy turbo kit but ditched it to go ls/vtec. I built the motor and it ran for 12k miles w/o any problems. I sold it a few months ago.
I guess your solution is gsr crank/rods in the ls block?
I have a b16 tranny with a ls 5th gear and a CM stage 3 clutch in my car currently. 3" Thermal exhaust on my basically stock ls longblock also....yeah, feels like crap.
