ls/vtec with Nitrous or Boost?

I'll take all three...lol.

At first I was just going to use a stock block since stock ls blocks are pretty cheap. I then decided to just upgrade the pistons since they're the weakest link in the bottom end. I remembered the Civic coupe that Colin was selling was running a ls/vtec setup with stock ls rods (forged pistons) and was running low 12s...could be wrong though. I might get a set of Eagles just for peace of mind. Thanks.

collin is a mechanic and could pretty much care less if his "fun" car blows up. get eagle rods and dont worry about them. and i think it was more like a high 12

Yeah, go boost if you have the cash...I have a god damn 72 trim on my built coupe(been lsvtec...now b16 ) all forged, and I found the little torque gain was good, never any probs...but with the size of my turbo and all the other work the b18 was a loss. I can make much more power by bringing the boost higher and being able to take it to higher rpms...but just like colin, if it breaks so what...fix it....either way it is really a money and time issue, if you have it to blow its great, if not stick with what is going to cost less to fix...but good luck on your project and if you need to find any parts to finish let me know, I probably have it.....oh yeah, dave give me a call....

best time ive seen on a all motor integra was a 13.8 ls-vtec built. oh yea it was completly gutted. so if your hoping for a high 12 boost is the way to go. just based on my limited experience

No boost....just sold the kit.

What is the quickest Integra or Si around here with a NA or Nitrous setup? Full Interior.
