ok here's the deal. The bottom of the shifter and part of the shift linkage was for some reason rubbing on the top of the exhaust heatshield. I took off the heat shield and hammered it down a little bit so it didnt hit. I also installed new polyurethane shifter bushing and flushed my transmission fluid and put in honda genuine manual transmission fluid. My shifting feels better than it ever has before.
