R.I.P.

The BMW Club just held their Car Control Clinic and I was an instructor. The teens realized how important their seatbelts are when they started to lose control of the car which of course was part of one of the exercises. It helped them stay in position to respond to what the car was doing.

I know seatbelts do not always save lives but it is a weapon in the fight to stay in control.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.
