dont be fooled ls1 fbodies get like 19/26mpg in 6spd trim. thats pretty impressive considering alot of 4 cyl cars get 26mpg hwy also. My ls1 gets 20+city and 29-32hwy. these are very efficient engines for being old school push rod v8s
