Light pink to cherry red is what auto trans fluid looks when new. A sign of coolant in the trans oil would look like strawberry milk. And brown doesnt always mean burnt, could just be worn/old fluid. But burnt trans fluid does have a distinctive smell to it. When I was going to school to be a mechanic many of years ago we where always taught to never judge condition of tranny fluid by the looks of it unless it was a strawberry milk look thats obvisous. We where always taught to go by smell.

I will agree with a dark grey to black color that means something inside the trans was coming apart.
yea i should have said a darker red is normal to more clarify what a real light pink might mean, also the brown color i belive is caused by the clutch material so ur right it could just be real old fluid and not worn down clutches.
i went to p-tech so i may be considered retarded in the automotive industries
