if its a b16 ecu IT would be a PR3 if so then its running too rich ,but it will work
If the motor is a D16 then a ZC ecu is what will work best for
pre OBD,YES you will need to hook up vtec but if your cheap then you can use a toggle switch & relay($20)or another way
