yeah i cant disagree w/ the electrical drain. tho there is a cure for that too. might i say alt upgrade. IMHO the more electrical items that you add to a car. the more sense it makes not only to run a battery that has more cca. but also a larger amp. alt. logically it does make sense. wouldnt you agree?

I think from a dollar per HP perspective, it is better to just run the clutch fan.
but, if that ratio isn't a problem, and you're building the motor and wouldn't mind buying an upgraded alternator, then i would agree that the electric fans are the way to go.
I don't like the clutch fan for two main reasons,
one, it reeks havoc on the water pump at higher rpms. especially if the fan is damaged in anyway. and especially once you get in the 8k plus area, not that many of our motors will ever see that, but still.
second, I hate how much space it takes up. It isn't an issue often, but when you have to do anything with your belts, the clutch fan is in the way something major. i've cursed mine untold number of times.
