Man I loved my 04 R1! I would give up my 06 GSXR 1000 in a second for another R1. The Gixxer may be a bit stronger but the R1 has such a better feel to it. When I would ride the R1 I felt like I was a part of the bike. It is a very confidence inspiring bike, you can put it exactly where you want with very little effort. As long as you have the cojones to keep the RPMs abouve 9000 and its a beast! And the looks, by far the best looking bike to ever come out of Japan.
