You won't see much of a performance gain with the kit, maybe a few ponies up top. the R1 has a slightly weak midrange on mine I went up two teeth on the rear sprocket and added a powercommander, velocity stacks, and BMC race filter. Definately woke the midrange up. Like I said before learn to ride with the bike above 9000 RPMs, while I'll admit that my Gixxer is stronger through the midrange the R1 pulls way harder up top.
