I agree that building a strong host is important. Turbos do not load the engine like nitrous. I understand what he is doing and it can be done.

What I can also add is do not do this to your daily driver that must serve as your main source of transportation.
I think it would be easier and cheaper to find a low millage explorer engine and add some good head gaskets and studs.If the tune is right it should live a long time.
