Your car is capable of alot better than 10's out there.... 8.50's for sure if you get the launch and shiftpoints down. Also, you need to run about 12-14 pounds of air in your radials and heat them up pretty good... otherwise they will spin all day.
what do you suggest i shift at? i was shifting it easy at about 5500, no powershifting, its a DD. also wasnt doing a burnout or dropping pressure, just staging. street tires need to last me a little while...
any suggestions on how to launch her? next time im out i may try dropping the pressure and spinning em a little before the run. also, what kind of safety things will be required going sub 9's? i dont have anything except a seat belt. got told helmet if you trap more than 80, but i dont know if thats correct. i was doing about 78-79.
