Nice GT and welcome to Ford Tech.

You have about the same mods as I do... you should bring her out to a Wednesday night test and tune at Sunshine.....maybe we could hook up a run.

It takes practice to get good consistent times at the drag strip... but it's also not bad considering you can't get arrested....

Your car is capable of alot better than 10's out there.... 8.50's for sure if you get the launch and shiftpoints down. Also, you need to run about 12-14 pounds of air in your radials and heat them up pretty good... otherwise they will spin all day.

what do you suggest i shift at? i was shifting it easy at about 5500, no powershifting, its a DD. also wasnt doing a burnout or dropping pressure, just staging. street tires need to last me a little while...

any suggestions on how to launch her? next time im out i may try dropping the pressure and spinning em a little before the run. also, what kind of safety things will be required going sub 9's? i dont have anything except a seat belt. got told helmet if you trap more than 80, but i dont know if thats correct. i was doing about 78-79.
