way too many options, classes, rules, etc are being pushed up here.. only going to make it more complicated which is the opposite of what Scott is trying to do....

I agree - see my post on page 2. The only way to keep it affordable enough for the average Joe is to stick indexed. I do like the idea of a modified bracket setup though. The time is the only thing that you have to worry about - the cars can be whatever they want with the exception of trans-brakes and 2-steps. That sure would make tech a lot easier too.
