thats weird, ceramics usually have a higher tolerance for heat than other materials. maybe they didnt help absorb the heat as well as a metallic or semi-metallic pad would? i havent noticed any difference and have put my brakes thru some pretty decent stops. the only problem i have is boiling the fluid in the m/c due to retardedly high underhood temps.
