i got a set of brembo blanks and pbr ultimates from:

Honda-Tech.com: Wheels, Tires, and Suspension: || FS: Brembo blank rotors + PBR Ultimate Ceramic brake pads, Best deal yet!! ||

and i have been really happy with them. they stop great, but they do put out a decent amount of dust.

Tirerack has a really good deal going on w/ the Brembo Replacement Rotors. aka, they're the same thing that are on the Evo, and they stop like a dream. Just combine them with a Hawk Pad, and you should be good to go.

thats what i use, i like the honda pads, they barely dust, dont squeak, arent expensive and last a long time. i also just use the oem rotors for the same reason and they're nice and meaty too!

forgot to mention on my setup i have the master cylinder, booster and proportioning valve from the 90-93 teg.

I highly discourage ceramic pads as they fade at higher temps, and brakes tend to get hot really fast on hard stops/heavy decel from higher speeds... I had a really scary experience once in that exact scenario, and I'llnever run ceramics on a race car again. (this is just coming from a drag racing pov, auto x etc. may be way diff., i dont know...)

thats weird, ceramics usually have a higher tolerance for heat than other materials. maybe they didnt help absorb the heat as well as a metallic or semi-metallic pad would? i havent noticed any difference and have put my brakes thru some pretty decent stops. the only problem i have is boiling the fluid in the m/c due to retardedly high underhood temps.
