also be carefull when you use the balancer remover tool. the pointed piece can get stuck in the end of your crank and damage threads. try to use the washer from the back of the balancer bolt and put it against the end of the crank where you just removed the bolt from. then the pointed piece can push against that instead. may need a hammer to get it loose so that it starts comming off.
Much safer to just use the flat end against the actual crank bolt, I've never used the pointed adapter directly on the end of a crank.
