Yea I had one of your local "HillBillies" make me a manifold. It lasted about 9 months before the welds cracked. One of your reputable shops no DOUBT. If you really think its so easy check out the NA section of the Supraforums and offer up your services. Right now there there are no less than 50 people wanting to go NA-T but are having problems sourcing a RELIABLE manifold for under about $700.
As for Powerhouse, Jarrett doesn't currently have his manifold in production yet. And even if he did I doubt it would cost less than about $8000 for a complete kit installed.
Right now Toyomoto is probably the best place to get an IS Turboed but you will pay for it, $5000 min.
You get what you pay for. Don't let some HillBilly fly by night want-a-be machanic, that thinks just because he has a Tig welder he can make a manifold that will last on a daily driver, work on your car. If anybody could do it then anybody WOULD...
