So, my original engine is being rebuilt again with the Powertec parts and will be back in January. It should be reliable again after being rebuilt properly but I'm going to move on to the Juno.

The car you're talking about with the V8 is the Radical SR8 which is even more finicky than the 1500cc since you effectively have two highly stressed engines merged into one and much more to go wrong; it also has a 30 hour rebuild interval. A friend has one and will be at Sebring with me in January if anyone is going and wants to check all of these out; Winterfest normally attracts a few thousand people.
