If you have an X pipe I believe dumps after the X could only help you. How much? Who knows. Depends on HP levels, what you have for exhaust before the X, and RPM you operate in. Saves weight too.
Al, I have BBk longtubes with a o/r hpipe. My operating rpm range would be between 5k-7100rpms. The headers are 1 5/8" I believe and the H is 2.5" diameter.
