I would think that your assumption IS correct, but I don't call the shots.

The real question is, does your friend really have a desire to race the clock on a tight dirt course...in an FJ Cruiser? If so, why? There are already plenty of videos on the interwebs of SUV's rolling over while playing in the dirt, and I wouldn't care to see someone potentially trash their vehicle and/or get hurt. It's just not worth the risk.
