Guess it depends on your perspective....
I could be convinced to believe that 70% of convicted felons or those currently incarcerated do not like Law Enforcement Officers, or any other form of authority for that matter (the woe is me.... I'm a victim mentally cop-out).
Meanwhile, the responsible and contributing members of society have a very favorable impression of Law Enforcement as a whole.
While his opinion may have been skewed one way, yours is absolutely skewed the other way. I know a LOT of responsible, contributing, lawful members of society who can't stand 'em. Sorry, but we don't drive by a cop car sitting on the side of the road and think, "Wow, there is a public hero!"
