3 minutes per pound.... Most of the fryers come with instructions about the birds. The most inportant thing to know is to make sure the bird is dry and NOT frozen! Either will cause bad things.... (experience is talking...
) Also, do not run the cooker any where near the house or anything else that can catch fire! Greese fires can get very nasty!!
