I think they know who is really dominating the streets now. lol JK. I know alot of guys that have gone back and forth between both the imports and domestics. Detroit is just as popular in the drifting scene now as the imports and the sport originated in Japan. Why..... $ and recognition. Sales make the world go round and this just happens to be a good place to market. I think the import boys run huge slicks, blowers (turbos) and wheelie bars also but we're not in the 60's and 70's anymore so times are a changin and they are using that terminology to reach the demographic that will keep them a float another year!! You know this..
