A two step is different than a anti lag setup.
A two step is just a lower rev limiter for launching. It does not typically build boost. My car will build about 2 psi or so on the two step.
A anti lag setup is similar to a two step but in addition to an adjustable launch rev limiter there is also an ignition timing retard and fuel increase that creates extra heat energy to spool the turbo. A car setup on antilag will sound like it is backfiring, and it is also kinda rough on the turbo depending on how you set it up.
Generally on a fwd car you only want to run anti-lag on slicks or bias ply tires. Running anti-lag on bfg's will just create too much wheel spin to be of any use.
Hope this helps.
