yes, it is...you pull the center diff, gut it and weld it up...in the earlier phase 1 trannies (93-96), there are two inner splined sections of the diff that need to stay aligned to work..either that or shave on the inner sections...

phase 2 conversions are the same but minus the doublesplined section due to different center diff styles.

on one of my trannies I went ahead and pulled the front ring gear too. Had no issues.

I do suggest an r180 and stronger driveshaft though.


As for 9" conversions I know of one guy stateside who was doing this with a SBC swap...the only working one I know is in Tony Rigoli's blue coupe.
