how did you even get on to talking about the not yet sold gtr???
this thread never went there but you did if you dont remember I said I would take a r32 with a 2j and own all because I like the 2j and I like the r32 .

are you going to buy the new gtr is that why you just started to talk about it???

I have been in a fast r32 and I love the fact that it is lighter than a r34 and the way it looks and the way it handles it is only missing one thing in MY opinion a larger displacment engine so instead of building the crap out of a rb I think a 2j will do the job for less money and alot less hair pulling to get parts trackside when little things go wrong, look at what happened when japan ran a r34 here for a top speed run it broke and they sent it home the first time,there are no parts to fix shit.
once again...the engine is HALF THE CAR....

the fucking drivetrain is what i am mainly interested in...

mate a 2jz to the awd setup of a GTR and then we can debate which is better...

you asked for ring times of an RB..and thus the R33 ring times match your coveted Z06 time, and the new GTR blows it away.

(the r33 was not modified as you would like to believe, they were merely stating that the car's speed limiter which is required in the UK, i assume where the car was from, had been removed)
