NO, the stator does not produce enought power on its own to ru a bike without a battery, it will just die. That is why it takes so long for the battery to recharge after a start, it is not like a car alternator that produces alot of power, so if your bike isnt running when you go down the road i suggest you replace the battery. Yausa makes soem good batteries.
