I called up Bennet Racing when I ordered my shortblock and he recomended a 348 ci setup. It's all bore and he claims 30 hp more on that setup vs the 347 stroked setup with everything else being the same. I'm obviously not a pro, so I just have to trust his opinion. Check into that, maybe ask around and see if others might agree.
I think cochese was running a stock block in the 9s but I think most would agree that an SVO or Dart block will be alot more safe.
I agree fully with the 348 if those extra 17 cubes really mean that much.
331 all the way, its just more sound of a rotating assembly. power adder + stroker at same time = throw the longest rod possible in it. I dont like alot of stroke in these kind of setups.
