well, if there is anything to be learned from this thread its that you dont pay $800-$1000 (calculating trade-in value) for something unless you know what your buying...

yes its a good point to say that we should have confidence when buying from fellow subaru owners.. and some people can piss 1000 bucks away without a wink, but my poor ass would have been inspecting those beeshes with a microscope on delivery if i was spending that kinda money on something to rub my ass on!


the point is, if you buy something 2nd or 3rd hand you need to know how to check for authenticity. period.
