I'm probably missing a lot but I like this rear mount idea just because it seems like it makes the pumbing job easier. Exhaust goes back there anyway, then one pipe goes up front full of boost!!!

I can see the case for closer to the heads but a little ingenuity along with a some ceramic coating here and there must go a long way for the average joe, like me If I could make 500hp in a less than ideal way, it's still 500hp and the car's gonna boogie...
