You see where i coming from though. If you have domestic that has work done to it, you either had to buy one that is older than the honda/acura or you just have a nice wad of cash.
You also have to factor in that some people have parents like mine, who are anti-buying used cars, and who aid in the purchase of the car. (i'm payin for my college, they are paying for half of my car). I was looking into finding a 91-94 MR2 turbo, but they wouldn't even consider helping me with it.
I just think people like to personalize their cars, and if they need the car to last 10 years, and can't buy used, a domestic is just out of the question.
