Well i guess i must have seen a shorter one then you. From what i seen, they cut him off for no reason.
The senator released a statement Tuesday saying he wasn't aware the Taser was used until after he left the building and "I hope that neither the student nor any of the police were injured. I regret enormously that a good healthy discussion was interrupted."
At a press conference Tuesday, University of Florida President Bernard Machen said "the incident that occurred yesterday is regretful for us because civil discourse and dialogue did not occur."
Sounds like everything was going fine till someone got a bug up their butt and didn't want him talking anymore. On the part about trying to remove him. I would have become agitated also. They cut you off and try to remove you...for what?..asking a question or questions? Maybe he was not listening to senator that said next. But from the senators comments that doesn't seem to be the case. Even if it was the case and hes back pedaling now, the only people that really know what happened and was said are the people that where their.
Yes after a moment he should have just complied as your not going to win at that moment. But even due to the fact the he wasn't complying, their was how many? 6 officers? So your going to tell me 6 people can control one person with their hands and force him into the desired position? It should take two people at most to do this. This guy was not some big football player or body builder. Cops are way to quick to use their tasers. He was not a threat, he was just not compliant.
