A Transbrake allows the transmission to be in forward and reverse at the same time keeping the car still and the drive wheels from turning.
a line lock is to keep a pair of wheels or 4 wheels brakes locked while you let go of the brake pedal.
All line locks i have seen have more than one outlet port on them.
with a 3-2 port conversion, you are allowing both front brakes to run off the same port of a 2 port master cylinder, instead of the back ( maybe front, you have to google that one, i don't remember and it's raining) port and the bottom port.
