Practical goes out the window when you start optimizing certain aspects such as handling or acceleration, you always give up practicality, besides, you just said comparing them was ludicrous, which in fact it is not, stop trying to pigeonhole the criteria to make you look 100 percent correct.
Facts..
(1)Stock honda cars are slow..all of them
(2)They, like anything can be made faster, allbeit not as efficiently as most sports cars.
(3) When questioned, honda drivers will usually revert to arguments of Power to weight or Hp/Litre to at least look like they have an Ace in the hole.
*disclaimer*..I have seen quite a few nice Honda setups, ones that any sane person would be proud to drive and own, but they were usually not done for very cheap, The two that come to mind are Gregs Hatch and Johns Silver car.
