Dino, its simply inaccurate to compare a bike motor to a car motor.
your bike, while making incredible power for a .9 liter machine rev's past 12k and has very little torque. a daily driven car (which is heavier and needs torque) simply wouldn't be useful with that type of setup.
and american pushrod v8's are old. the techniques used to make the heads and bottom ends are based upon 60's technology. and if i'm not mistaken these motors are not aluminum...at least the majority of them at least...which makes the older v8 motors extremely heavy.
however, as Corey knows i'm a big fan of american v8's and my dad has owned many of them over the years.
